Still Here
I will finish "My Story" soon but just have not had a chance to get it on here. The last few weeks have just confirmed to me that life in America can be crazy and feel like a rat race. Some days we are home and playing with the girls and other days it seems the list of things to do never ends!
What have we been up to? Well, we have spoken several times this past week in different Bible fellowship groups. Marc is the speaker of our family. I get so sick and nervous. Ugh. We have spent lots of time with my family (i.e Basketball games) and Marc's brother's family which has been so fun. I've started going to a women's Bible study at church and we've made lots of trips to Sonic.
What is coming up next for us? We are having a Valentine Party with my sister-in-law and the cousins this week. The girls have heard and read about V-Day here in the states but this year they wanted to make cards and eat American candy. *grin* We are having Addison's FIRST Birthday party on Sunday, the 14th because that is the only time we can do it! We are going to Beaumont, TX to speak the next weekend, then Addison's actual birthday is on the 22nd, then Marc and I leave for South Africa 4 days later. So we have lots to do!!! We are very excited about going to see Marc's family but also sad about leaving the girls for 12 days. We've never left them for that long and so help me if Addison takes her first steps while I'm gone. I might not recover. I'm trying to focus on the fun we will have- us, Marc's brother and sister-in-law and Marc's parents- no kids for 12 days touring J-Burg and Cape Town, going on a safari and just enjoying being together! (Please Lord, don't let Addison take her first steps or let me be okay with it if it does happen. Amen.)
After our big trip to SA we will have one more trip to Atlanta, GA to see some of Marc's family and then I think we are staying put! These 6 months are sure going to fly by!
I'm so tired, I'm not even sure if any of this makes sense or has correct grammar and punctuation. I'm sorry.
