Happy Birthday, 5 years old
Dear Cerys,
Tears are welling up inside me right now just thinking about the day you were born. I can hardly believe it has been 5 years since God gave you to us. Those first few hours were so scary, not knowing if you were going to make it or if you would be healthy if you did survive. I was so scared. I remember the first time I saw you, many hours after you had been born, and how swollen you were. I could not wait to get you home! Daddy and Gigi spent many hours with you too in the NICU, and after just one week you were able to come home! It was Thanksgiving Day and I could not have been more thankful and relieved. God has a plan for you child! God has sure used you Cerys to teach me many things about myself! Your first year was a huge learning curve for your Mommy. I remember being in tears at your 1st Birthday- not only because I could not believe how sweet you were, but I was so grateful to God that I had survived my first year of motherhood!
You have such a lovely sense of humor and you always have something to say. I love that you are so witty, I love that you like to dress up and play "teacher." You are a girly girl, that's for sure! Daddy and I are so proud of you and who you are becoming. We love you so much, sweetie!
Happy 5th Birthday, Cerys.
Love, Mommy and Daddy

Dear Cerys,
You are a good big sister. Thank you for helping me make my bed this morning. I'm too little sometimes. You are fun to play with. I love you.

Dear Cerys,
You always make me smile and laugh. Thanks for playing with me and helping me learn to crawl. I'm sorry I ate your baby doll's foot last week. I love you.
Love,
Addison
