I Really Did Not Want To Know That...

So every week we get the local newspaper pushed through our mail slot in the door. Today I sat down to read it and read an article about the cemetery across the street from our home. (Why is it we have been surrounded by cemeteries in this country? When we lived in Pontypool, we lived in a flat above a church and every window but one in our home looked out onto the church cemetery.) Anyway- the cemetery across the street is celebrating (?) it's 150th Anniversary this weekend so they have written up some stories about it in the local paper.

Here's one-

"A rather gruesome story is told about one of the heaviest bombing raids on Cardiff on May 18, 1943. High-explosive bombs fell on ------- Road and a land-mine also fell on the cemetery exposing some of the graves to such a degree that dogs were seen scavenging for bones and were reputedly spotted running up and down ------- Road with human remains in their mouths."

Nice. I could have done without knowing that. And you probably could have to.
