Sniffles and Sonograms

We have a sick little girl on our hands. Thank you Nursery school. Cerys came home on Friday looking (and acting!) a bit rough. By that night she was so stopped up and couldn't breathe. Needless to say, there was not much sleep in our house last night. Momma needs an extra does of patience today, that's for sure! She is sleeping now, thankfully, and I am praying she wakes up feeling a bit better. I can't remember the last time she's had such a bad cold.

We have our big 20 week scan on Monday afternoon (9:20am Texas time, 3:20pm our time). We would appreciate your prayers so much. First of all that the baby is healthy and growing as it should be. Also, we are wanting to find out what we are having- another little girl or a boy- and I've been told twice that there is a good chance it won't happen very easily. I was even talking to a lady just this morning who is a few weeks ahead of me, and she told me that at her scan the sonographer told her that if "it" was visible then she would let her know, but there would be no special effort made to find out. And of course her baby did not cooperate so she doesn't know what she is having and is really bummed. So, I am praying for a friendly sonographer-who's having a great day- and that this baby would cooperate and let us see! I didn't run into this problem with Cerys, because many of you know we wanted to be surprised, so I never asked! Then with Bailey we were in Dallas and the sonographer was wonderful, she had me rolling from side to side to get Bales to move around more so we could find out. So, I am trying not to get my hopes up for Monday, but if we do find out, we will be sure and let y'all know!

I lit a fallish -smelling candle this morning and made some cupcakes today, in hopes of cheering up our home a bit. I told the girls I would let them put the icing and sprinkles on after naptime...I hardly ever want naptime to end around here, but I'm ready to eat me a cupcake!!! Isn't that typical- on the days you want them to wake up so you can go somewhere or do something, they sleep forever!!! I am NOT complaining though! Cerys definitely needs her rest today...so do I, why am I not sleeping right now???
