S'more Please!

This is a really random picture of our wild child- Marc had some free time Friday morning, so the 3 of us enjoyed a muffin and coffee at Starbucks!

Then we made a tent that afternoon and they enjoyed reading books in it!

Tonight we roasted marshmallow's and made S'mores. This summer a store here had some random American items- and one of them was marshmallows. They didn't taste quite the same and in fact the package said made in Belguim, but anyway...I used some biscuits we brought back from France (Petit Brun, our favorite!), and some Fairtrade organic chocolate squares and did this...

Marc bought a disposable grill and it worked just fine! (Our family has made S'mores with all kinds of things- our first Thanksgiving as a married couple we made them using candles in our living room. Marc's parents were on furlough staying with us and we all got a good laugh! Another year we used the gas stove.)

As we head into another week of Nursery school, I shall leave you with a quote from Cerys.

While walking home on Friday she said, "Mom, they don't speak English at my school."

So the rest of our walk home was me trying to explain the word "accent" to her. :)
