Our weekend and an Organic Welsh Beef Burger

We've had quite an enjoyable weekend, so I thought I would let you know what we've been up to! On the edge of your seat, aren't you?

It all started on Friday night when Marc had made all arrangements and surprised me with tickets to see Beauty and The Beast at an old theatre here in town. It's actually called The New Theatre and has a lot history behind it, but I won't go into that right now. He had gone into town one day last week and bought the tickets and then arranged a babysitter for us. We had a great time, the show was fabulous and we really enjoyed our date! The costumes were just fantastic and it was just a great show!

The girls have been sleeping amazingly well for the last 2 weeks! Both girls slept in till 8:00am on Saturday morning, so we were already off to a great start! I had made French bread earlier in the week with some yummy dipping oil , so I decided to use the left over bread for French toast which was really yummy! Then after nap we headed down to the Bay for the annual International Food Festival. It was really crowded, but we did enjoy walking around. They had booths of all kinds of food- cheese, pastries, bread, olive oils, etc. You could sample anything you wanted! Our friends were with us, and since they had gone last year, they knew of all the yummy places to visit, so we ate an organic hamburger made from Welsh beef. OH MY. Marc even went back for seconds....if you know Marc, you know they must have been yummy for him to have 2! They were the best burgers we've had in this country, ever! Guess we'll have to wait till next year to try another one!

It's been tipping down rain all day today, but we had a fun-filled weekend and are now getting ready for a busy week. Bailey has a doctor appointment in the morning to check her ear tubes, so I'm sure that will be interesting. If you've read much on this blog, you know about our doctor's surgery experiences. Marc has a big project/event going on this coming Saturday with the Gap Year students we work with, so he'll be busy getting ready for that!

I'll leave you with a few pictures from the weekend...

The girls chatting to grandparents on the computer! (Marc bought these left over desk pieces at IKEA for 50p. to better organize his office/desk, and the girls thought they were just perfect!)

We had Dream Whip (like Cool Whip) on our fruit for dessert, and Bailey really enjoyed it and we even got a smile this time!
